To be eligible for a return, your item must be uninstalled, unused, and in the same condition that you received it in.
Warranty Policy
CATA Electronics offers a limited 1-year warranty on all products from the date of purchase. All new and remanufactured units are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials. The warranty applies solely to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- THIS WARRANTY COVERS:
- Computers which are not burned, abused, water damaged, and/ or tampered with.
- ONE YEAR of valid repairs/ exchange on current ECM.
- Security seals are intact and ECM has not been opened or worked on.
- Cores and Warrantied ECMs must be repairable (must communicate, and have no physical damages such as burn, water or oil damages) to receive core fee refunds.
- ECM core part numbers must be identical to the purchased ECM in order to receive the core fee & activate the warranty.
- The core must be presented for warranty services to be honored.
Warranty Exclusions
ECM warranty is not covered by the following conditions:
- Burns due to extended wiring and/or shorting issues.
- Programming, calibrations, or flashing of ECM.
- Damages caused by external sources, wiring problems, any labor, towing, or work done by other repair shops.
RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES
- If a dispute arises between you and CATA Electronics, our goal is to provide you with a neutral and cost-effective means of resolving the dispute quickly. This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the State of Texas as they apply to
- agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Texas. without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree that any claim or dispute you may have against
- CATA Electronics must be resolved by a court located in Tarrant County, Grand Prairie, Texas. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within Tarrant County, Texas, for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes.
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the turbocharger at our discretion. We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our warranty policy does not cover towing costs, labor costs, or costs to replace other parts of the vehicle in the event of damages.
Warranty Claim Procedure
If you experience any problems with your ECM within the warranty period, please follow these steps:
- Contact us immediately to inform us of the issue.
- Provide us with the invoice number, date of purchase, and vehicle details.
- We will provide instructions on how to return the item to us for inspection
- Upon receipt, we will thoroughly examine the ECM to determine if it is a valid claim under warranty.
- If the turbocharger is deemed to be covered under warranty, we will either provide an exchange unit or repair the same unit, at our discretion.
Exchanges
Items are eligible for exchange/replacement if they are still covered under our 1-year limited warranty policy.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. We cover Ground shipping, but if you need it quicker, you will be responsible for covering the costs of the next-day shipping service.
