TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • We DO NOT offer refunds on exchanged or repaired ECM’s. A ONE-YEAR exchange warranty is offered on all ECMs from purchase date.
  • You must contact us immediately if a warranty exchange on ECM is needed.
  • We DO NOT offer any refunds on shipping & handling.
  • If your core is deemed “bad” (not communicating, burned, or physically damaged) you will be responsible for shipping return on ECM. You also have the option of selling your bad core to us for $50.
  • Security seals MUST be intact and show no signs of tampering to honor warranty policy.
  • Programming is included with exchange/ repair price. If you do not send your core in first, we cannot guarantee accurate programming of parameters and/ or features for your vehicle.
  • We are not responsible for incorrect feature/parameter programming if original ECM parameters are initially unattainable.
  • We are not responsible for any labor, repairs, towing or other expenses incurred
  • Warranty will be voided and core charges may apply if due core is not returned within 10 business days.
  • Cores and Warrantied ECMs must be repairable (must communicate, have no physical damages such as burn, water or oil damages) to receive core fee refunds.
  • Core must be presented for warranty services to be honored.
  • If you have issues with an exchanged/ repaired ECM, please send back for warranty. We may send out another programmed ECM the same day you contact us, but will need to place a HOLD on your credit card until initial ECM is returned and diagnosed. A HOLD is a “pending” amount in your bank account, and will be released once initial ECM is received and diagnosed.

WARRANTY

THIS WARRANTY COVERS:

  • Computers which are not burned, abused, water damaged, and/ or tampered with.
  • ONE YEAR of valid repairs/ exchange on current ECM.
  • Security seals intact and ECM has not been opened or worked on.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • Burns due to extended wiring and/or shorting issues.
  • Programming, calibrations or flashing of ECM.
  • Damages caused by external sources, wiring problems, any labor, towing or work done by other repair shops.

RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES

If a dispute arises between you and CATA Electronics, our goal is to provide you with a neutral and cost effective means of resolving the dispute quickly. This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the State of Texas as they apply to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Texas. without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree that any claim or dispute you may have against CATA Electronics must be resolved by a court located in Tarrant County, Grand Prairie, Texas. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within Tarrant County, Texas, for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes.

Please sign this policy agreement stating that you understand and agree with CATA Electronic’s warranty policy, Terms & Conditions and Resolution of Disputes.
